Online gambling has been a topic of controversy for many years. However, the recent events have shown that it can be used for good. A few online casinos as well as casino players have decided to donate cash from casino wins to Preferred Medical Group, a non-profit organization that provides medical care to those in need.
The donations from these online casinos have helped Preferred Medical Group to expand its services and reach more people who require medical attention but cannot afford it. The funds donated by these casinos are being used to purchase equipment and supplies needed for their clinics, as well as hiring additional staff members.
This act of charity by online casinos has not only helped Preferred Medical Group but also brought a positive light on the online gambling industry. This shows that even though there may be negative aspects associated with online gambling, it can still be utilized in ways that benefit society as a whole.

All patients seeking health care services at Preferred Medical Group are assured that they will be served regardless of ability to pay. No one is refused service because of lack of financial means to pay. Preferred Medical Group will offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program to all who are unable to pay for their services. This program is designed to provide free or discounted care to those who have no means, or limited means, to pay for their medical services (uninsured or underinsured). Preferred Medical Group will base program eligibility on a person’s ability to pay and will not discriminate on the basis of an individual’s race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Federal Poverty Guidelines are used in creating and annually updating the sliding fee schedule (SFS) to determine eligibility.
