4th of July Photo Booth– Staff from Phenix City Children’s set up a 4th of July photo booth at Thunder on the Hooch. Families dressed up with hats, leis, and mustaches and took silly photos. We even got Dr. Chandra to take a picture.
Watermelon Day– Dr. Chandra donated the watermelons and sunscreen, and we enjoyed some time with the residents of The Gardens at Stadium. Residents had a healthy snack and played by the pool in addition to participating in a sunscreen contest to see who could apply their sunscreen the fastest. Winners received Monkey Joes passes!
Summer Lake Apartments Pool Party– Dr. Chandra sent popsicles over to this event, although she was sad that she was not able to attend personally due to seeing so many patients. At every outdoor event we attend we always encourage families to have safe fun in the sun.
