Rebranding: The practice got a new logo and a new name- Preferred Medical Group.

Becoming a Partner in Education: PMG was formally recognized as a Partner in Education with Lakewood Elementary School for the 2013-2014 school year. Dr. Chandra spoke about Healthy Habits at the PTA meeting that same evening.

 

 

Lakewood Elementary School’s Veteran Day Breakfast: Preferred Medical Group was a proud sponsor. It was so much fun to decorate the cafeteria in red, white and blue.

Veteran’s Day: In order to show support for our military families and to thank them for their service, we gave Monkey Joe’s passes to every child from a military family who came in for a visit on Nov. 11th.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Top Ten Parenting Tips”: Dr. DeRamus dished out her best parenting advice at St. Joseph’s Child Development Center in Fort Mitchell, AL. We donated Subway sandwiches and enjoyed lunch with the parents, many of whom trust Fort Mitchell Clinic with the care of their children.

Doughnuts with the Docs- This program involved collaboration between Dr. Chandra of Phenix City Children’s, Dr. Griff Gordy of Gordy Eye Care, and Dr. Stephen Cooper of the PC Spine and Joint Center. Each doc shared from their respective fields of expertise and then hosted an open Q & A session for parents.

Lakewood Primary School Career Day: Dr. Jennifer Rumph spoke to each class of students in grades K-1. We used Doc McStuffin’s props to encourage children to interact while learning what it means to be a pediatrician.

 

 

 

Fort Mitchell Fire Department Annual Run: PMG was a proud sponsor of this annual 5K run. We are so grateful to the volunteer fire fighters in this department, who keep our community safe from harm.

Event Supporting Senator Tom Whatley– Dr. Chandra hosted an event at the Phenix City Children’s office recognizing Sen. Whatley for all of his hard work.
