I am an American Board-certified psychiatrist with more than 26 years of experience providing both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care. Mental health has been my lifelong passion, and I’ve always been fascinated by the complexities of the human mind. Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse clinical environments, including the U.S. Department of Defense, the Veterans Health Administration, and within forensic psychiatry in the criminal justice system. In 2017, I expanded my practice into telepsychiatry to better serve patients in remote and underserved areas.
I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, PTSD, eating and substance use disorders, dissociative disorders, and culturally-influenced psychiatric conditions. I also specialize in advanced interventions for treatment-resistant depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and PTSD, including intravenous ketamine therapy.
I believe strongly in a collaborative approach, working closely with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other specialists to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
